You will operate advanced X-ray and computer equipment to produce highly detailed cross-sectional and 3D images. What You Will Do · Demonstrates successful technical/patient skills by efficiently implementing CT scanning protocols and procedures in Diagnostic CT according to expected service excellence standards. · Collaborates effectively and in a timely manner with coworkers, staff and patients while displaying a positive attitude. · Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment. · Adheres to ALARA, Image Gently, Image Wisely standards and hospital CT safety standards. · Consistently follow hospital and department guidelines for patient identification and safety. · Demonstrates competency in patient and technical imaging skills by producing a variety of radiological procedures while maintaining the highest standard of care independently and collaboratively. · Displays a commitment to hospital mission and values. · Maintains licensure and continuing education requirements. · Uses administrative skills to contribute to the successful operation of the department. · Effectively communicates with ordering providers and/or radiologists to properly protocol patient studies. · Ensures all equipment is functioning and demonstrates ability to initiate service repair process. · Refer to competency for all essential duties.

Education Qualifications · Associate’s degree Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program (Required) or · Other Accredited Program: Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program (Required)
Experience Qualifications · 1+ years as CT technologist (Preferred) or · 1+ years as a registered technologist (Preferred)
Skills and Abilities · Uses a variety of equipment specific to the area, including CT scanners, power injectors, and various computers. (Required proficiency) · Use EMR and Radiology RIS systems to send and obtain patient information for care. (Required proficiency) · Ability to perform procedures specific to area. (Required proficiency)
Licenses and Certifications · Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) (Required Upon Hire) and · Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT-R) (Required Upon Hire) · ARRT-CT certification within two years of eligibility to sit for the exam (Required) · Ohio Department of Health License (Required Upon Hire) Weekend/Holiday rotation required for full and part-time positions.
