  • When you join us as a PET Technologist you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.
  • You Will: Perform complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of PET scanners and related equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures and company protocols.
  • Produce high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging and interventional procedures, starting IV's, and injecting contrast if needed.
  • Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Monitor patients’ well- being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
  • You Are: Genuinely passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement and an ability to remain professional in all situations Able to demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests & colleagues Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a knack for prioritizing work with a structured approach, and enjoy solving complex problems To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have: Must have current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification with State Nuclear Medicine License.
  • Must have venipuncture certification/permit.
  • Must have BLS certification At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Requirements

Candidates must hold current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certifications, a State Nuclear Medicine License, venipuncture certification, and BLS certification. At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.
