Position Highlights: Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Initial schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week (8:30 AM–5:00 PM) Opportunity to transition to full-time within 3–6 months Full-time applicants are also encouraged to apply Patient volume 16-25 per day Office-based gynecology No obstetrics, hopsital responsibilities or call Perform routine GYN exams, IUD insertions/removals, all aspects of Women's Health Record patient history and follow-up with patient
Florida-licensed NP or PA Gynecology or women’s health experience preferred Fully bilingual in English and Spanish Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional, dependable, organized, and patient-focused Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with the physician EMR experience (Athena experience is a plus)
National NP or PA certification or ability to obtain Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician About Unified Women’s Healthcare is affiliated with the largest, physician-owned Ob-Gyn practice network in the nation, with more than 900 affiliated practices and 2,500 providers in 17 states and Washington DC.
