The Float Pool RN is responsible for floating between various nursing units to manage patient care, administer medications, and monitor progress. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and provide emotional support and education to patients and families.

Be responsible for floating between various Nursing Units throughout the hospital based on need Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and overall management of care for the patient population on the nursing unit Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.
Passion for caring for a diverse patient population New Grad RNs will be considered 1+ Years of acute care hospital based nursing (RN) experience preferred Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required or currently enrolled in a BSN program Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration required Certification: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required ACLS must be attained within 6 months of hire

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a BSN degree (or currently enrolled) and a New York RN license. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, with ACLS attainable within six months of hire.
