You will prepare patients for procedures, operate imaging equipment, maintain a sterile environment, monitor patient status, and assist during examinations and treatments. Working closely with radiologists, cardiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare providers will allow you to contribute to achieving the best patient outcome. Education Qualifications Associate’s degree or completion of an accredited 2-year program in a school of Radiologic Technology. (Required) or
Experience Qualifications 1+ years experience as a Registered technologist. (Preferred) and 1+ years as a registered Radiologic Technologist with IR experience (Preferred) and
Skills and Abilities Able to perform interventional procedures in specified areas. (Required proficiency) Clear knowledge of modality specific equipment, computers, Inventory systems, PACS, EMR and RIS. (Required proficiency) Clear knowledge of image and exam protocols. (Required proficiency) Uses a variety of equipment specific to the area, including single-plane and bi-plane angiographic equipment, power injectors, and various medical devices and computers. (Required proficiency) Knowledge of proper sterile procedure technique, gowning and gloving, and infection control.
