Overview Registered Nurse – CCU travel assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

Start date 08/11/2026 for 13 weeks.

Earn $2,388 to $2,551 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Shift is 12-hour nights on a rotating schedule (3x12), including weekend coverage.

This assignment supports CCU and CVICU coverage in a smaller, community-focused care setting serving patients locally.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care for CCU and CVICU patients, including hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and rapid response to physiologic changes
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, update care plans, and document in the electronic medical record
  • Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; manage arterial and central lines and IV access; monitor labs and patient status
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, cath lab teams, and other care providers; participate in rounds and handoffs
  • Participate in call rotation and cross-coverage obligations; float to Medical-Surgical/Acute Care as needed
  • Ensure patient safety and infection control; provide patient and family education as appropriate

Requirements

  • Colorado RN license in good standing
  • BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association; PALS (AHA) documentation may be required for submission
  • Minimum 3 years of RN Critical Care experience
  • Day 0 CVICU experience with strong CVICU skills; ability to cover CCU as needed
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and participate in call rotations; ability to float to Acute Care if requested
