Bayview Physicians Group is a progressive, independent, multi-specialty, physician-led group serving the Hampton Roads. We are currently seeking a Board-Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine, Urgent Care, Occupational Health or Emergency Medicine Physician to join our collaborative team of urgent care providers at our NowCare Urgent Cares.
NowCare operates seven convenient locations throughout Southeast, Virginia including the areas of Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk and Suffolk, providing walk-in urgent care services seven days a week from 8:00am to 8:00pm. Our team provides high-quality, patient-centered care for a wide range of acute illness an injury in a modern, efficient outpatient setting.

As a Physician at NowCare Urgent Care, you will provide comprehensive, longitudinal patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting while collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team. You must be comfortable providing care to patients of all ages. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute illness and injuries for patients of all ages Perform comprehensive medical evaluations including patient histories and physical examinations Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic studies, including laboratory testing, EKGs, and X-rays Develop evidence base treatment plans and prescribe medications in accordance with current clinical guidelines Perform common urgent care procedures: Laceration repair (suturing/stapling) Incision and drainage Splinting and basic orthopedic care Foreign body removal Wound care and dressing changes Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and collaborative support for APPs Obtain and maintain DOT Medical Examiner Certification (or be willing to obtain upon hire) Perform DOT physical examinations and complete all required documentation Perform occupational health services, including; Urine drug screens (UDS) Breath alcohol testing Chain of custody specimen collection and documentation Return to work and work-related injury evaluations Practice Highlights Strong commitment to patient centric value-based care A multidisciplinary team of 300+ physicians and advanced practice providers, including; Cardiology, Pulmonary, Dermatology, Sleep Medicine, OB/GYN, Surgery, and many additional specialties Practice within an established, integrated healthcare network featuring: 75+ outpatient clinics 7 Urgent Cares Advanced Imaging Ambulatory Surgery Center Sleep Lab Center Outpatient Cardiac & Pulmonology testing Exceptional Careers Meet Coastal Living
