Baptist Medical Center is looking for a Sterile Processing Technician to support the Sterile Processing Department at Baptist South.
This position is a Full-Time Evenings opportunity.
As a Sterile Processing Tech, your responsibilities include: Understand principles of sterilization.
Wrap instruments/linen properly, while selecting correct supplies to be used for sterilization.
Able to prioritize duties.
Knowledge of sterilization equipment and processes they perform Able to decontaminate surgical instrumentation and re-assemble into trays Experience Requirements: 1-2 years Instrument Experience 1-2 years Surgical Instrumentation Experience Linen Processing Experience Knowledge of regulatory protocols.
Education & Credential Requirements: High School Diploma Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST).
Required Or Certification Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) Required Or This Sterile Processing Technician position will be located at Baptist Medical Center South.
