Market context

Ohio PCA roles remain steady

In Ohio, Patient Care Assistant roles in ortho trauma units are typically in steady demand because hospitals need support for mobility, hygiene, and basic patient monitoring on busy inpatient floors. These openings can be competitive when they require a high school diploma or GED, AHA CPR, and one of several clinical preparation paths, such as STNA training, RN student acute care rotation, or competency training. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits on this page to save time, then confirm your training path and CPR status before applying.
