Job Description

  • St. Elizabeth Physicians is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified, surgical oncology fellowship-trained surgical oncologist to join our team at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. Our surgical oncologists practice within St. Elizabeth’s $140 million Cancer Center located on the Edgewood campus. This state-of-the-art facility was opened in 2020 and features multi-disciplinary teams, a teaching kitchen, yoga studio, and library among numerous other offerings. An experienced surgeon will find the opportunity to work as part of a collaborative team including surgeons, advanced practice providers, and registered nurses. The ideal candidate will be an experienced surgical oncologist with experience in hepatobiliary, pancreatic, robotics, and HIPEC. St. Elizabeth Edgewood has 4 da Vinci Xi robots available to surgeons. Surgical Oncology practice call will be 1:3. Call is focused on new and established surgical oncology patients with no general surgery call responsibilities. Position Highlights:
  • Must have completed fellowship in surgical oncology
  • 5+ years of surgical oncology experience is ideal
  • Collegial team of medical & radiation oncologists, gynecologic oncologists, thoracic surgery, colorectal surgery, gastroenterology, precision medicine, etc.
  • Closed Surgical ICU staffed by 24/7 fellowship-trained intensivists
  • 4 da Vinci Xi robots at Edgewood campus

Requirements

Must be board-eligible or board-certified and have completed a fellowship in surgical oncology. Ideally possesses 5+ years of experience with expertise in hepatobiliary, pancreatic, robotics, and HIPEC.
