Performs various duties in the operative treatment of surgical patients, including positioning, draping, and providing hemostasis. Assists the surgeon by handling tissue, suturing, and applying dressings using surgical instruments.

Call 1500 -0700 weekdays, 24 or 12 hour weekends
Performs a variety of duties in the operative treatment of surgical patients.
Assists in positioning, skin preparation and draping of the patient.
Provides hemostasis, wound exposure, handles tissue appropriately to reduce the potential for injury, sutures tissue, and applies dressings to the wound under the direction of the surgeon.
Uses surgical instruments skillfully in ways consistent with their design and purpose.
Performs other medical services as required within the scope of practice for a Certified Surgical Technologist.
Requires a certificate program post high school and at least 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist. Must hold certifications as a CST, CSFA, or CSA-ABSA, along with Basic Life Support certification.
