About the role

The surgeon will provide expert orthopedic spine care and perform various spinal procedures in an outpatient setting. They will collaborate with other musculoskeletal specialists and participate in general orthopedic call.

OrthoVirginia, the premier orthopedic/musculoskeletal practice in Virginia, has opportunities for fellowship-trained, board-certified/board-eligible orthopedic Spine Surgeons to join our practice in the Richmond and Blacksburg, VA areas.

About OrthoVirginia: OrthoVirginia is the premier orthopedic practice in the state of Virginia.

We have specialists in physiatry, general orthopedics, joint replacement, spine surgery, sports medicine, hand and foot & ankle surgery, rheumatology, sports medicine-trained primary care physicians, and physical and occupational therapy.

We also have MRI, injection suites, after-hours clinics, surgery centers, and expanded therapy services.

Position Overview: The successful candidate will work alongside specialists in general orthopedics, joint replacement, sports medicine, and orthopedic trauma.

Our practice offers a direct pathway to becoming a shareholding physician and the potential for participation in ancillary revenues such as imaging and physical therapy.

This is a private practice/partnership track opportunity.

As such, candidates should be prepared to participate in general orthopedic call.

Qualifications

Compensation Range for this position

$275,000 - $325,000

Requirements

Candidates must be fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible orthopedic spine surgeons with an MD or DO degree. Active or eligible Virginia state licensure is required.
