About the role

The Physical Therapist will perform systematic patient assessments and manage an adult orthopedic caseload of 10-12 patients per day. Responsibilities include documenting care via TherapEBridge and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to help patients achieve their care plan goals.

Overview Baylor Scott & White Institute of Rehabilitation Waxahachie, TX Full Time Physical Therapist Outpatient BSWIR Waxahachie Outpatient is looking for a full-time Physical Therapist to assist in our growing volumes.

The Waxahachie clinic, located on the BSWH Regional Medical Center campus (I-35 and Hwy 287) is a large, dynamic, multi-disciplinary clinic with experienced therapists, including OT, PT and ST, seeing a wide variety of patient populations and diagnoses.

We are looking to fill an adult orthopedic caseload and we are willing to train the right candidate in advanced treatment options and techniques.

Schedule is M-F and clinic hours are 6:00am to 6:00pm.

Select Medical complies with state and federal wage and hour laws.

Compensation depends upon candidate's years of experience and internal equity.

Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at one of our Outpatient Rehabilitation Facilities, you will work with a team of clinicians. Together we will help our patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan. Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment Patient Case Load Average: 10-12 patients a day Timely and accurate documentation using TherapEBridge Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately Promoting continuous quality improvement Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed

Qualifications

Requirements
