Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and other IV infusions following established protocols. Monitor patients during and after treatments for adverse reactions or side effects and take appropriate action when necessary. Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, side effects, and self-care strategies. Perform patient assessments and vital sign monitoring before, during, and after treatments. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other staff to develop and adjust individualized care plans. Coordinate scheduling for treatments, follow-ups, and lab work. Manage electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring accurate documentation of all treatments, assessments, and interactions. Assist with procedures such as bone marrow biopsies, port flushes, and central line care. Support patients and families emotionally through all phases of treatment. Travels to satellite locations and floats to other offices as needed.
