Perform and assist with cardiovascular treatments, therapies, and procedures including scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating under physician direction. Document clinical data and contribute to the development of evidence-based policies and standards of care.
Education, Experience and Certifications Satisfactory completion of high school and an accredited program of Cardiovascular/Cardiopulmonary technology, The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or related field required.
If not licensed or certified (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, allied health professional will have up to 12 months to successfully obtain.
Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist/Electrophysiology Specialist training or experience preferred.
Graduate of an accredited Allied Health Technology program, such as Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or comparable.
Graduate of Cardiovascular Interventional Program or minimum of two years of experience as a Cardiovascular Specialist.
