Support patient flow by managing rooming, vitals, and documentation using eCW. Assist in both sterile and non-sterile surgical procedures while maintaining clinic inventory and safety standards.
As a Clinical Technologist, you’ll be a critical member of our team, supporting patient flow and engaging in various clinical support tasks. After completing your initial training (4-6 weeks), you’ll perform all job responsibilities independently with confidence. This entry-level role is ideal for MAs and PCTs looking to expand their skills and take on new challenges in a fast-paced clinic environment. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care Support: Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation. Use eCW to update patient status and maintain smooth patient flow. Procedure Support: Prepare exam rooms, support sterile and non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and cleanliness. Documentation & Inventory: Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, and keep exam rooms stocked. Compliance & Confidentiality: Uphold all HIPAA standards, follow UVVC's Core Values and Standards of Conduct, and maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality. Bilingual in Spanish preferred
High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient care setting Certification: BLS certification required within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred) Preferred completion of an accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program Strong communication skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) Dependable, punctual, and knowledgeable in medical terminology Why UVVC?
