Qualifications

Passion for working with older adults, including individuals with physical, cognitive, or psychological challenges. Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused with a desire to enrich the lives of others. Basic knowledge of aging and memory loss, or willingness to complete specialized memory care training. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, families, visitors, and team members. Energetic, creative, and eager to contribute ideas for engaging resident programming. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and sound judgment skills. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Organize and assist with group and individual resident activities. Assist the LEP Coordinator in developing program activities and goals for residents, based upon individual needs. Communicate with the Home Health Aide/Nursing Assistant as needed to comply with the physical needs of each resident. Support Country Manor's mission, vision, values, and Hometown Culture. Perform other duties as assigned.
