The Registered Veterinary Technician supports the surgery team by assisting surgeons and monitoring anesthesia. Responsibilities also include performing radiology and CT studies, administering medications, and managing client communications.
The Northeast Indiana Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (NIVES) is a 24-hour referral and critical care hospital located in Fort Wayne, IN. NIVES provides specialized care in Small Animal Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Critical Care Services. We serve the clients of NE Indiana, SE Michigan & SW Ohio.
We are looking to add a Registered Veterinary Technician to support our Surgery team!
Ideal candidates are friendly, detail oriented, and have strong multi-tasking skills.
All candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle difficult situations with sensitivity and tact.
We have an extensive training period.

Anticipated Schedule: Full time = 36-40 hours per week Monday through Friday Occasional weekends will be needed
$22.00-28.00 dependent on experience Up to $1000 hiring bonus! We offer weekend shift differential in the amount of $1.50/hour
