The Registered Nurse promotes and restores patient health by completing the nursing process and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. They provide physical and psychological support to patients and families using the ANCC Synergy Model to optimize outcomes.

  • The Clinical Nurse I (CN I
  • registered nurse) promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families. The RN utilizes knowledge derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate culturally based and age specific patient care.

The RN incorporates the principles of the ANCC Synergy Model for patient care to drive nursing practice, resulting in optimum outcomes for the patient.

Requirements

Candidates must have an Associate Degree in Nursing and a valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required based on department needs, though no prior experience is necessary.
