Provide social work services within a behavioral health setting at Millwood Hospital. Support patients through counseling and therapeutic interventions as an intern.
INTERNSHIP SUMMARY: Students will be supervised by a Licensed Social Worker at our Midtown Brances facility in Ft. Worth, TX. Learn how our facility impacts the community and participate in treatment teams with a multidisciplinary team approach. This is an unpaid internship. LOCATION: 900 Jerome Street, Ft. Worth, TX 76104 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct Bio-psychosocial assessments Discharge planning and identifying resources within the community for aftercare Psychoeducational groups and therapeutic processing groups
