Provide compassionate care for adults with complex acute illnesses on a 28-bed General Internal Medicine and Special Pathogens unit. Participate in evidence-based research, quality improvement initiatives, and a shared governance clinical practice.
00am – 11:00pm. Every other weekend and a holiday rotation. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

Join a team of remarkable nurses that use compassion and advanced critical thinking skills to care for adults suffering from complex acute illnesses on this 28-bed unit.
This unit also serves as our Special Pathogens Unit.
Provide care for acutely ill patients, including those with pneumonia, COPD, congestive heart failure, acute and chronic renal failure, cellulitis, gastrointestinal bleeds, liver failure, diseases of addiction, diabetes mellitus, COVID, and altered mental status.
Be involved in cutting edge, evidence-based therapies and research studies to improve patient outcomes.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice change.
