Francis of Perpetual Adoration in 1889, is a full-service, 260-bed, nonprofit regional medical center in Lincoln, Neb.

St.

Elizabeth specializes in the treatment areas of newborn and pediatric care, women’s health, burn and wound, cardiology, oncology, emergency medicine, orthopedics and neuroscience.

St Elizabeth is a Level III high-risk facility with 11 LDR’s + 2 OB ED Beds, 2 OR’s, 23 Postpartum rooms, and a 27 bed Level III NICU.

Our practitioners include OB/GYN, Family Practice and Nurse Midwives.

Our facility offers resources to OB Hospitalists, Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Neonatology experts, and anesthesiology access 24/7.

In addition, we offer neonatal transport services.

Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans.

Follow the nursing process which includes: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.

The nursing process is an ongoing process that can end at any stage.

Assessment - Demonstrates a systematic, dynamic way to collect and analyze the following healthcare consumer data including: psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic and lifestyle factors Plan – Sets measurable and achievable short and long term goals according to standards of care based on the assessment by the nurse in collaboration with the healthcare consumer and multidisciplinary team.

Implement – Implements and/or modifies the plan of care using assessment data, clinical reasoning based upon standards of care and evidence based practice.

This includes care coordination, education and discharge planning.

The nurse is accountable for the care directly, indirectly or through delegation.

Professional and legal standards for delegation must be followed.

Evaluate – Uses a systematic ongoing process to evaluate progress towards identified healthcare consumer goals.

Revision of plan of care when needed involving the healthcare consumer and the multidisciplinary team.

Documents all phases of the nursing process in the healthcare consumer’s record.

Job Requirements Graduate of an RN nursing program, upon hire Registered Nurse: NE, upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and Neonatal Resuscitation Program, within 6 - months

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an RN nursing program and hold a Nebraska Registered Nurse license and BLS-CPR certification upon hire. Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification is required within six months of employment.
