About the role

The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for reviewing prescriptions for safety, correct dosing, and potential drug interactions to ensure patient safety. They collaborate with doctors and nurses to safely dispense medications and provide real-time research-based solutions for patient care.

Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Clinical Pharmacist, you’ll help our doctors and nurses safely prescribe and dispense medications to help our patients feel better and recover from their illness or injury.Every day, you’ll build trust in these interactions by reviewing every prescription in your queue.

We never rely entirely on the computer to check for safety; we always use an expert for the final check.

You’ll review prescriptions for potential drug interactions, correct dosing, patient allergies or anything that looks unusual in your opinion.

To excel in this role, you must enjoy learning new concepts and researching information in real-time to provide solutions for our patients.

You should also continually look for ways to go above and beyond for your patients, delivering an exceptional experience along with exceptional care.

Job Requirements Required Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree BLS-CPR Active State Pharmacist License in good standing in the State of Washington ACLS Must possess strong knowledge of Pharmacy Services Knowledgeable and skilled in current practice concepts of pharmacy practice settings Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and professional standards Strong project management skills, good strategic planning skills and strong change management skills Must demonstrate personal traits of a high level of motivation, team orientation, professionalism, trust and place a high value on treating others with dignity and respect

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and an active Washington State Pharmacist License. Required certifications include BLS-CPR and ACLS, along with strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and professional standards.
