Why is this Respiratory Therapist role different?

This role offers a balance of time in the branch and time in the field, allowing you to develop both patient-facing clinical skills and strong workflow independence.

You'll provide essential respiratory care, equipment setup, patient education, and clinical support, playing a key role in ensuring safe transitions from hospital to home.

Key Highlights Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Work Arrangement: On-site; approximately 50% in the branch and 50% in the field Territory Coverage: Up to 3 hours’ driving distance from the branch

Salary Range

$30.00 – $35.00 per hour. Compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors including experience, skills, education, certifications, and location. On-Call Transparency Rotating on-call coverage every week Responsibilities include phone support and patient home visits as needed What You'll Do Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow‑ups Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signs Performs other duties as required What We Look For Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active TN and MS RT license. Ability to obtain and maintain Arkansas Respiratory Therapist licensure Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 – 50 lbs. Valid driver's license Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation Education Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Certificates, licenses, registrations or professional designations Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy Hold a current CPR Certification Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice If you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply. Requirements

Requires a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist license in TN and MS, with the ability to obtain Arkansas licensure. A minimum of 2 years of experience and a current CPR certification are required.
