As our Radiologic Technician/Medical Assistant you’ll be the insight to the needs of the patient via our basic in house imaging capabilities. Your imaging skill will help guide the care and outcomes of our patients, while your experience and skill as an Radiologic Technician/Medical Assistant will be a crucial part of our care team delivering patient focused care, where each individual is treated as a person rather than a number.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, occasional weekends 7a-7p
Welcome patients and escort to exam room Prepare patients for radiology procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures in regards to patient safety and care; including proper radiation protection and shielding techniques Log radiological procedures, process routine documentation in EMR and logs Obtain and record vital signs (BP, heart rate, pulse oximetry, height, weight, waist circumference) Provide information and assistance to patients Perform blood draws, administer injections/vaccinations, and input medical information into EMR Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations; keep rooms neat, clean and well stocked Maintain patient confidence and ensure confidentiality of patient care information Assist the physician and medical staff with procedures and treatments Complete and document daily equipment checks and calibration
One year of recent clinical experience, preferably in primary or urgent care setting BLS for Healthcare Providers BMO or CRT license required Willingness to be cross trained on light MA duties
Medical Assistant or willingness to be cross trained for light Medical Assistant duties Phlebotomy and injection skills (willing to train)
Understand CPT and ICD10 Codes Proficient knowledge of computer systems including electronic medical record (EMR) Proficiency with blood draws and injections-preferred but not required Experience working with digital imaging Ability to effectively communicate with staff and patients using excellent written and verbal skills Friendly personality and ability to work well as a team member
