About the role

Provide essential home health aide and palliative care to hospice clients, including assistance with activities of daily living and vital sign monitoring. Perform home management tasks such as meal preparation and laundry to support clients remaining at home.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Licensed LNA for a part-time 24 hour opportunity to complete hospice visits to clients located throughout Rutland and Bennington County.

As an LNA, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides home health aide, skilled nursing and palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the care required to remain at home.

A Home Health Aide / Certified Nurse Aide must: Have at least one year of work experience Must be listed on the VT Aide Registry, active and in good standing.

Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination Have a criminal background check completed Meet all state requirements Enjoy being part of a team that cares and a company that believes in leading with our values Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aides / CNA - Certified Nurse Aide : Activities of daily living Light housekeeping Bathing Grooming Toileting Nail care Range of motion / exercises Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices Oral feeding Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.

Requirements

Candidates must be an active LNA listed on the VT Aide Registry with at least one year of work experience. Must pass a competency evaluation, a criminal background check, and have access to reliable transportation.
