Job Summary
The F/ACT Employment Specialist provides work related services, including assessment, job readiness training and skills building with SMI patients.
This position is expected to spend at least 80% or more time in community working with employers, community colleges, skills centers, probation and the criminal justice system.
Will also be required to utilize this time in the community to work with each client after employment is obtained to ensure ongoing supports are given to sustain active and meaningful employment.
Skills/Requirements: Highschool diploma or GED required.
Associates degree or higher preferred.
1-3years of experience working with the SMI population with additional experience in multiple settings and levels of care, including both mental health and substance abuse preferred.
1-3 years of experience in a behavioral health position providing outreach and engagement activities preferred.
1-3 years year of experience of providing employment services and job readiness skills preferred.
Ability to pass criminal background check for jail visitation/clearance CBI Offers an excellent benefits package!
