The Physical Therapist is responsible for managing patient care and supervising delivery of services in accordance with state practice acts and professional ethics. They provide high-quality rehabilitation to medically complex patients in a critical care hospital setting.

Candidates with inpatient hospital experience are preferred, but we also welcome therapists who are eager to expand their clinical skills and are committed to learning in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for patient/patient management, delivery, direction and supervision of care provided in an age- appropriate manner, consistent with the principles and practices of the Physical Therapy Practice Act of the state where the hospital or clinic resides, the professional code of ethics, and the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health.

Qualifications

Education and Training: PT license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required.

Experience

One year of clinical experience preferred. Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid PT license in the state of practice and a current BLS certification. One year of clinical experience is preferred, particularly in inpatient hospital settings.
