PHA is seeking a dedicated PMHNP to join our growing team. You will provide psychiatric care across multiple skilled nursing facilities, collaborating with staff and ensuring the highest quality of patient-centered care. Primary Responsibilities
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, record patient histories, and maintain accurate documentation.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and facility staff.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and psychiatric conditions.
Refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
Participate in case reviews, consultations, and ongoing care coordination.
Adhere to regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
Additional duties as assigned.
Reporting Structure Reports to Supervisory Psychiatric Physician / Executive Director
Candidates must hold an active Florida APRN license, National Board Certification as a PMHNP, and a DEA license. Post-acute care experience is required, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
