Job Description

Position Summary

The Surgical Navigator LVN coordinates the full continuum of care for patients undergoing surgical procedures, including total joint replacements. This role ensures a seamless, patient-centered experience from initial surgical consultation through post-operative recovery. Serving as a central point of contact for patients, providers, and interdisciplinary teams, the LVN Navigator facilitates timely access to care, promotes surgical readiness, and supports optimal clinical outcomes while aligning with Marshall’s standards for quality, safety, and patient experience. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education/Licensure/Certification: · Current California LVN License required. · Current BLS certification required. Knowledge/Experience: · Minimum three (3) years in orthopedic, surgical services, or care coordination required · Prior experience in care coordination, navigation or population health preferred · Familiarity with pre-operative clearances workflows and post-acute coordination preferred.

Skills

· Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required. · Proficiency in EPIC preferred. · Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current California LVN license and BLS certification. A minimum of three years of experience in orthopedic or surgical services is required.
