The RN is responsible for assessing resident conditions, implementing individualized plans of care, and monitoring Certified Nurse Aides. They must communicate status updates to points of contact and ensure compliance with healthcare laws and Medicare regulations.

What You Must Have

Current State Registered Nurse License Current Driver's License, reliable transportation, and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance Two years of experience as an RN preferred in a healthcare/clinical setting

What You Will Do

During rounds observes, assess, documents and reports resident conditions and/or changes Implement the individualized Plan Of Care as directed Identify significant changes in the condition of residents and takes necessary action per facility policies and procedures Oversees and monitors Certified Nurse Aides Discharge residents per facility Completion of Nursing Assessment for Physician Calls prior to calling Physician on any change in resident condition Communicate with resident’s Point of Contact when they ask for status updates or if there is a change in condition Provide training to other staff as needed Utilize excellent customer care skills with internal and external customers, including using proper phone etiquette Timely submission of all documentation Performance of other duties as required Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures It is this Agency's policy to provide equal employment opportunities without regard to age, race, color, religion, military status, gender preference, sex, marital status, national origin or disability.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a current State Registered Nurse License and a valid driver's license with auto insurance. Two years of experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is preferred.
