Provide 24/7 call coverage for Obstetrics and Gynecology, managing inpatient admissions and performing hospital rounds. Execute a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic procedures, including routine and complicated deliveries and surgical interventions.
Provide call coverage for Obstetrics & Gynecology at assigned hospital location (Haywood or Harris), including 24/7 beeper call with 30-minute response time. Manage inpatient admissions (average 4 per day), perform hospital rounds, and handle phone consults (0-3 per shift). Perform required obstetric and gynecologic procedures including routine and complicated deliveries, c-sections, repairs, and minor/major surgical gynecology. Ensure accurate documentation in McKesson and Athena EMR systems. Collaborate with hospital support staff (RNs, MAs, CNM) to provide comprehensive patient care and maintain patient safety.
Must be Board Eligible and licensed in North Carolina with NC Medicaid Enrollment and ACLS certification. Proficiency in both low and high-risk pregnancy management and surgical gynecology is required.
