Market context
Michigan histotechnologist openings are typically driven by ongoing lab and pathology needs, so employers look for candidates who can support accurate tissue processing and slide preparation. This role is competitive because a bachelor’s degree, ASCP certification, and histology experience are often preferred, and some employers also require comfort with specimen embedding and a standardized color blindness test. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits on this platform to save research time, then confirm your certification status and hands-on histology experience before applying.
