Walden Behavioral Care is seeking a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Medicine-Pediatrics Physician to join our multidisciplinary team at our Dedham, MA, location.
This physician will play a crucial role in the medical management of patients with eating disorders and co-occurring medical conditions.

$200,000.00-$225,000.00 depending on experience

Responsibilities: Include:
Provide comprehensive medical evaluations, treatment, and ongoing management for patients receiving eating disorder treatment at Walden Behavioral Care.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, dietitians, and nursing staff to ensure holistic, integrated patient care.
Monitor and manage medical complications related to eating disorders, including but not limited to electrolyte imbalances, malnutrition, and refeeding syndrome.
Conduct routine medical assessments and follow-ups, including laboratory review and medication management.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized treatment planning.
Educate patients and families on medical aspects of eating disorders, treatment options, and recovery strategies.
Support transitions of care, including discharge planning and coordination with outpatient providers.
Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and be board certified or eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Medicine-Pediatrics. An active and unrestricted medical license in Massachusetts is required.
