About the role

The LVN will provide initial medical screenings, obtain vitals, and document patient histories within a clinical research setting. They are also responsible for administering medications via CVADs and performing blood draws while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Clinical Research Team and support the delivery of exceptional patient care.

As a successful candidate, you will: Provide initial medical screening: Greets patients and directs them to appropriate exam / procedure rooms.

Obtains vitals, chief complaint and basic medical history; accurately document in medical chart according to accepted medical standards.

Medical administration: Administer medications and therapeutic agents through CVADs, closely monitor patients responses and ensuring adherence to established protocols..

Perform peripheral blood draws and central line maintenance.

Assist providers or nurse upon request during exams / procedures of patient and according to accepted medical standards.

Practice Universal precautions with respect to establish safety protocols.

Facilitate communication between the provider and patients as needed, including translation as appropriate.

Your qualifications should include

  • Completion of a licensed vocational nursing program. 1 year of work experience as an LVN in a medical environment. Current CA LVN license Current BLS certification with the American Heart Association Strong clinical assessment skills

Candidates must have completed a licensed vocational nursing program and possess a current CA LVN license and AHA BLS certification. At least one year of work experience as an LVN in a medical environment is required.
