The Anesthesiologist will administer anesthesia and related care for a diverse range of surgical and medical procedures. Additionally, they will provide medical direction to Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
As an Anesthesiologist at Penn Highlands, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia and related care to patients undergoing various surgical and medical procedures. The case load will encompass a diverse range of specialties, including but not limited to general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, ophthalmology, and ENT procedures. Additionally, you will oversee the medical directions of CRNAs (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists) to ensure optimal patient care.

Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program. Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology Valid state medical license (or ability to obtain one) to practice in Pennsylvania.
