Provide compassionate, in-home support to disabled veteran's by assisting with daily living activities, personal care, companionship, and light household tasks while promoting client safety, dignity, and independence.
Help with mobility, transfers, walking, and fall prevention.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed.
Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, and tidying.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Remind clients to take medications Monitor and report changes in the client's physical or mental condition to supervisors or family members.
Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies.
Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
High school diploma or GED preferred. CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license may be required. Strong communication, compassion, patience, and time management skills. Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift or transfer clients safely (up to 50 pounds, if required). Stand, walk, bend, and assist clients throughout the shift. Ability to perform household tasks and respond to client needs promptly.
