The Radiology Assistant is responsible for transporting patients to and from the department and responding to patient needs. They support technical staff to improve efficiency and provide quality patient care under limited supervision.
Under the direction of the supervisor, the Radiology Assistant conducts themselves in a professional manner transporting patients to and from the department, responding to all patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. They assist the technical sta' members to enhance their e'ciency and must work with limited supervision.
Candidates must have post-high school special training and BLS certification within three months of hire. MRI safety training and the ability to communicate effectively in English are required.
