Responsibilities

Perform high-quality radiologic exams to support quality patient care Educate patients on radiologic procedures and safety protocols. Consistently performs radiation safety in accordance with ALARA Support the radiologist and evaluates imaging for quality and accuracy Assist patients with positioning for the exam Ensure that imaging equipment is in optimum order and inform the appropriate person when repairs are needed.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited ARRT Radiology Technology school Kansas State Board of Healing Arts License within 6 months of hire ARRT (R) registered BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

  • Requirements: Preference will be given to ARRT (R) registered Radiologic Technologist with prior work experience in a healthcare setting.
