Job Details

Responsibilities

Performing a variety of clinical tests. Perform various biochemical, microscopic, blood bank and/or bacteriological tests. Obtain data for use in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school required. Licensed under the NYS Dept of Education as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist required. Knowledge of hematology, chemistry, blood bank, and/or microbiology required. Hospital experience desired. Must work weekends and holidays as scheduled. One year internship at an accredited hospital or one year practical experience required. Good oral and written communication skills essential.

Salary Range

Usd $63.66 - Usd $69.45 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits. Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science and licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist from the NYS Dept of Education. Candidates must have one year of internship or practical experience and knowledge of hematology, chemistry, blood bank, and microbiology.
