What you’ll do

As a Family Therapist, you will

Meet with clients and their families on a regular bi-weekly basis

Runs/co-facilitates therapeutic groups

Complies with both internal and external requirements for documentation and associated timelines.

Participate in weekly meeting with clinical team for case conceptualization

Assists in preparation of treatment plans, court reports, and other clinical documentation.

Completes quarterly family assessments.

Assists with victim/sibling's reunification, when warranted

Assess the status of family involvement and discuss strategies for improvement/relevant attendance with supervisors

Aids in the assessment of suitability of family members for discharge consideration

Maintains regular contact with juvenile probation officers and/or caseworkers for case coordination.

Clinically supervises residents while following program policies and assuring compliance with BARJ principles and best practices within the field.

Remains on call after hours for a week at a time, several times a year.

Qualifications

Required

Therapeutic training: Master's Degree required.

A License for LPC, LCSW, MFT or supervision toward this end is preferred.

Specific training and/or experience with sexual offending population and/or adolescents is preferred.

Certificates and Licenses

Valid driver's license required

One of several clinical licenses preferred

Requirements
