The EDAT provides basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. They work in close collaboration with the nursing team to ensure safe and quality patient care within the Emergency Department.

The Emergency Department/Acute Care Technician (EDAT) is a staff position responsible for providing basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). The EDAT works in close collaboration with an assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient care, is a valued member of the patient care team, and functions under the direction of the RN. Estimated pay range for this position is $17.79 - $26.03 / hour depending on experience.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a certification as a CNA, EMT, or Medical Assistant. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and one year of experience is preferred.
