Perform diagnostic venous duplex and DVT ultrasound scans while preparing exam rooms according to safety protocols. Manage medical intakes, enter notes into the EMR system, and assist during sterile procedures.
Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans. Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures. Medical intakes. Enter medical notes in our EMR system. Use sterile technique for procedure set up and prep patients for procedures. Assist during procedures. Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA. Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and notifies the office if there are any issues. Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care team.
Associates degree in Medical Sonography. Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Sonography. EMR systems. Lower extremity/ vascular preferred.
Certified Medical Sonographer. RVT or RVS preferred.
