The nurse is responsible for enhancing and restoring the functional ability and quality of life for patients with physical impairments following acute injury or illness. The role involves providing specialized medical care to help patients overcome daily obstacles and return home.

QUALIFICATIONS​ Valid license or temporary permit to practice professional nursing in Louisiana.

American Heart Association BLS-HCP.
