Position Summary

ReVive Orthopedics Spine & Sports Medicine is seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. This role supports physicians in patient care and assists with a variety of clinical tasks to ensure high-quality service and efficient practice operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both clinical procedures and patient support, while also maintaining a patient-centered, compassionate approach.

Key Responsibilities Patient Intake and Preparation

  • Escort patients from the waiting area to examination rooms, gather medical history, and document information in electronic charts.

  • Assistance: Assist physicians with injections, aspirations, cast applications, and other in-office procedures; provide pre-op clinic prep, attach necessary diagnostic reports to notes, and prepare patients as needed.

  • Keeping: Manage patient charts, ensuring all pertinent information, diagnostic images, and notes are organized and accessible for physicians; complete patient forms for FMLA, disability, and other medical documentation needs.

  • Care: Record vital signs, assist with wound care, and collect samples (blood, urine) for testing; instruct patients on post-care instructions such as medication, crutches, or exercise.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED required; certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required Experience: 1-2 years in a medical assistant role, preferably within an orthopedic or specialty clinic. Bilingual (Spanish and English) Ability to travel between all our clinic locations Skills and Competencies: Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) Strong patient interaction and communication skills Ability to assist with a range of clinical procedures Physical Requirements: Ability to move and stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma and certification as a CMA, RMA, or CNA, with 1-2 years of experience preferably in orthopedics. Proficiency in both English and Spanish and the ability to travel between clinic locations are required.
