Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in support of the Crow/Northern Cheyenne Hospital in Crow Agency, MT.

Position duration: 13+ weeks 40 hours a week Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

Process and analyze clinical laboratory specimens using various diagnostic laboratory equipment such as analyzers, microscopes, and centrifuges. Prepare patients and collect blood specimens utilizing venipuncture or capillary methods. Prepare patients for collection of other specimen types such as urine and stool. Process and analyze clinical laboratory specimens using various diagnostic laboratory equipment such as analyzers, microscopes, and centrifuges. Review, verify and report patient results. Perform, update and/or review Quality Control, Calibrations, and Maintenance. Must be proficient in major areas of the clinical laboratory, such as clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, serology, urinalysis, and molecular testing. Must be proficient at capillary and venous blood collection. Must be able to and interact with a diverse patient range Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field from an accredited institution. Certification as a Medical Technician by a recognized certifying body (e.g. ASCP, AMT) 5-7 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting. Phlebotomy required.
