Job Overview: Functional Family Therapy (FFT) is an evidenced-based family intervention program for youth ages 11-18 who are experiencing behavioral and relational problems at home and in the community.
FFT is an effective treatment for a wide range of behavioral and emotional problems such as symptoms of conduct and oppositional and defiant behaviors.
The ideal candidate is flexible, has a desire to work within a collaborative team environment, and engage with families in a community setting.
Key Responsibilities: Provide in-home therapeutic services to families using an evidence-based clinical approach Provide culturally competent care to client population Collaborate with system partners as needed, and continuously assess client needs and adjust services accordingly Complete documentation per program guidelines Be willing to learn the Functional Family Therapy protocol and process
Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant mental health discipline Must have strong clinical skills and a willingness to learn Motivation and strong social skills to build healthy relationships with our clients and partner Flexibility and passion for working with children/adolescents Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record. Local travel required.
