The housekeeper is responsible for sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing assigned areas while adhering to OSHA safety standards. They must also maintain housekeeping equipment and may assist with various caregiver duties as needed.

SUMMARY Suite Living Senior Care of Little Canada is a 32-unit Assisted Living & Memory Care facility and we are looking to hire a professional and compassionate HOUSEKEEPER to join our team! The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Senior Living community as a Housekeeper or Caregiver.
Sweep, vacuum, dust, wash, scour, and sanitize areas as assigned; must move furniture and equipment as necessary to clean. Keep harmful chemicals safety stored to OSHA standards and perform cleaning procedures in accordance to building policies. Use proper body mechanics during cleaning and moving furniture. Utilize housekeeping supplies as needed and properly care for all housekeeping equipment. May assist with various Caregiver duties as needed SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS Minimum of a High School Diploma Previous experience as a Housekeeper strongly preferred Experience in a Senior Living community strongly preferred Previous experience as a Caregiver strongly preferred but not required Must have excellent knowledge of all housekeeping duties and expectations Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards required Must be respectful and compassionate towards the geriatric population Must have excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills with residents, staff members, and families Must have physical aptitude to perform the functions of the job
A high school diploma is required, and previous experience in housekeeping or caregiving within a senior living community is strongly preferred. Candidates must possess the physical aptitude to perform cleaning tasks and a compassionate attitude toward the geriatric population.
