The Congregation of Holy Cross (US Province) in Notre Dame, IN, is seeking a dedicated and caring full-time Nurse Assistant for 2nd shift to join our team at Holy Cross House.

This medical role involves providing medical, nutritional, emotional, and spiritual care to our residents (priests).

With a competitive base pay of $17 - $18 per hour and an additional shift incentive of $1.25 for 2nd shift and a $2.00 shift incentive for weekend work, this nursing position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

What's your day like?

In this nursing role, you will provide comprehensive care to our residents at Holy Cross House, our private non-licensed facility.

Your day will involve assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting.

You will perform necessary cleaning and disinfecting tasks and document care activities meticulously.

Interaction with residents will be conducted with compassion and respect, ensuring their comfort and dignity.

Communication and collaboration with your colleagues will be essential as you report on resident conditions and care needs to ensure seamless care across shifts.

What's needed from a nurse assistant?

High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year(s) of related experience Ability to use common patient care equipment Professional appearance and a caring attitude Respectful of the religious beliefs of the congregation Verbal and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team CNA training and experience working with geriatric populations and psychosocial behavioral issues is preferred!
