Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
Diagnose and treat mental health and behavioral health conditions.
Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans tailored to each person's unique strengths and needs.
Provide medication evaluation, prescribing, and ongoing medication management.
Collaborate closely with psychologists, nurses, primary care providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
Monitor treatment effectiveness and make clinical adjustments to optimize outcomes.
Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
Support best practices in behavioral health care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. Active New York State Medical License. Current DEA Registration. Valid New York State Driver's License. Location Flexibility Seneca, Cayuga, or Yates County We are willing to work with you to determine the location(s) that best meet your availability and preferences.
